Concrete technology options in the ready mixed industry can be likened to the hospitality ecosystem in Orlando, Fla. Much like the independent ecosystem of amusement parks, restaurants and hotels built up around Disney’s jealously guarded vertical market, the concrete technology ecosystem is filled with innovative, young tech companies offering a range of á la carte products and services to enhance value and user experiences in our industry. Their tech tools span from basic blocking-and-tackling for operations to artificial intelligence. 

However, for these independent products to work, you must be able to feed them data—and lots of it. This can only be done with integration. Your legacy technology providers must allow third-party access to the operational data pulled by their systems.
