We’re excited to recognize a member of our team who has direct experience with concrete quality testing and applies his knowledge to continually improve our solutions for the industry. Erik Lovelace joined BCMI as a Product Specialist in 2020 and is now BCMI’s Product Manager, responsible for testing software instead of concrete.
“The best part of my work at BCMI is being challenged to find solutions that fit within our established framework,” Lovelace says. “Working with our producer customers and the BCMI team lets me understand every facet of how our system works and how it can grow. In short, I’m proud of what we build and am happy to be a part of it.”
Prior to joining BCMI, Lovelace was a Washington Association Building Officials special inspector. He was certified to inspect structural concrete, concrete reinforcement, adhesive anchors, soil and asphalt density; performed aggregate sampling and testing; and performed compression testing of concrete, grout and mortar samples. Prior to that, he was a geophysical surveyor in Southern California.
“Erik is the go-to person in BCMI for comprehensive product knowledge, serving as the primary product manager for the BCMI product portfolio, where he navigates the complex landscape of customer priorities and product innovation, consistently driving strategic improvements in each Material Monthly and quarterly release,” BCMI Vice President of Product Adam Gardner says.
