GCC of America, based in Glendale, Colorado, has launched BCMI’s cloud-based dispatch at its Iowa and South Dakota locations. This is the first phase of its rollout of BCMI dispatch, which will be implemented at all its 43 locations in the U.S. in 2025.
Established in 1941, GCC is a leading producer of cement, ready-mixed concrete, aggregates and innovative solutions for the construction industry. GCC’s operations stretch from the state of Chihuahua in northern Mexico through the U.S.
“Moving from on premise to cloud-based operations seemed like a daunting task, but we were able to clean and convert our data with the support of the BCMI team,” GCC Business Process Leader Terry Heyn says. “Training was our next step, and again, we found many resources within BCMI to help things along. The go-live was well timed for our slower season in the area and went off without a hitch. We are now trying to see which internal processes need to be honed and optimized and how best to use the BCMI platform to drive efficiencies for our company and our customers.”
GCC’s next big step will be using BCMI to incorporate “integrated lines of business” like asphalt, aggregate and other bulk materials.
“The future looks bright at GCC and we are happy to have a great new partnership with BCMI!” Heyn says.
