Consumers Concrete, based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, successfully launched BCMI’s cloud-based dispatch at its 18 concrete plants in three regions. On the first day, trucks shipped around 1,400 cubic yards.
Dispatchers have reported they can already take orders more efficiently and that their process is streamlined by having access to all aspects of the business on the same platform – BCMI’s Material Pro.
President and CEO Adrienne Heidema applauded BCMI’s supportive implementation staff on site and how quickly hiccups were handled. “The staff also helped many of the new users get comfortable with Material Pro, providing training and making system adjustments based on feedback,” she said. “Daily launch debriefs were a critical component to ensure everyone was in the loop and concerns were being addressed.”
